Bewleys Airport Hotel

Click2Screen have recently finished a second installation the for Bewleys Hotel group. Following the success of the screens at Bewleys Hotel Leopardstown, similar sigange was needed at their brand new hotel beside Dublin Airport.

Two screens were installed: one 50" rear projection screen beside the meeting rooms entrance, and on 100" front projection system in the main reception.

Building on the successful template at Leopardstown, Bewleys Hotels required further software functionality on top of their meeting room booking system. In addition to this, a live flight information feed, a realtime gps locator for their buses and a cctv camera feed were added to the display.

A large portion of the screen is taken up with the airport flight information feed. This invaluable information gives guests an accurate idea of their progress en route to a departure, or simply to know when their family, friends and colleagues have arrived.

Added to this, is a realtime map of the two complimentary shuttle buses that the hotel operates to and from the airport. This gives guests a second-accurate indication of when the next bus is coming to take them to the airport.

Given the generous amounts of screen real-estate available, another requirement was to display a cctv camera feed from the lobby to display onscreen. Where traditionally and additional monitor may have been used to display a security camera, this integration fits seamlessly on to the 100" screen.

In addition to the meeting room booking system, all of the above runs flawlessly on-screen 24/7, and provides  an invaluable source of information to guests and patrons. All of this serves to benefit the customer, increase productivity of staff, and save time and money for the hotel.
